Cross Country and downhill skiing is readily accessible.

The KL Cross Country Ski Runners maintain an excellent trail system behind the Community Complex. Skis and boots can be rented free from the Complex. Nearby, the Englehart Nordic Ski Club maintains cross country trails near KapKigaWan Provincial Park.

Some of the best downhill skiing in the region is available at Kanasuta
Ski Resort, located just across the border in Quebec. For fun closer to home, you may want to visit the Larder Lake Ski Hill.
