Kirkland Lake is located on Trans-Canada Highway 66, and so is one of the main conduits linking Ontario and Quebec. Tours that follow Trans - Canada Highway 11 can easily turn east at the Highway 66 junction and follow the route through Kirkland Lake and into Quebec. In Quebec, a thirty minute ride to the east takes you into Rouyn-Noranda. Turn south, and you will reach the eastern shore of Lake Temiskaming. That takes you in a full loop, back on to Highway 11.
What is there to see? Rolling hills, fall colours, sparkling rivers, beautiful blue lakes, ragged hills, pleasant little towns....and so much more!
