Council respects the efforts of community groups. To this end, Council has implemented a community grant program.This program demonstrates Council’s commitment to working with individuals and organizations by providing financial assistance for projects and activities that will benefit the community and enhance the quality of life of Kirkland Lake’s citizens. The Community Grant Policy establishes eligibility requirements and ensures that public funds are made available, distributed and accounted for in an open, fair and transparent manner.
