Ontario job-seekers interested in a career in residential construction can access free training and work placements through the Job-Ready Program.
Led by the Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA), training under the Job-Ready Program lasts up to eight months and comprises in-class and on-site instruction in carpentry, drywall installation, cement working, framing, and heavy equipment operation.
